John Krysak: " The Ternopil region is interested in the development of agricultural cooperatives "

Participating in the meeting were representatives of the Department of economic development, investment and international co-coordinators of the EU / UNDP project "Local Development CBA" in Ternopil region, PG DFS in Ternopil region. "Projects supported by the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme - an opportunityimprove the living conditions of the inhabitants of the region, especially in rural areas - said Ivan Krysak. - Ternopil currently registered 7 agricultural cooperatives, can get CB 4 cooperatives. So now we have to solve all problems, because we are very interested in the work of cooperatives in the region. " Note. Commonproject of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme "Local Development CBA" (CBA) since 2008 is active throughout Ukraine. About 2.6 million people in more than 2,000 villages have improved their lives through the implementation of micro restored on kindergartens and schools (664) and medical items (118), access to quality water (110), Environmental protection (9), energy saving street lighting (706). More than 2,000 local initiatives were implemented, more than 20,000 community members and 6,000 local and regional officials were trained on financial management and project management. The third phase of the project will be implemented during the 2014-2018 CBA years with a total budget of 23.8 mLN. euros provided by the European Union (23 mln. Euro) and UNDP (800,000 euros). The Project - promoting sustainable socio-economic development at the local level by strengthening and promoting joint management of public initiatives throughout Ukraine. During the third phase of the CBA will support regional and local authorities to spreadRennie best practices and experience with participatory planning and redistribute approach based on the community in the Ternopil region. CBA Project activities aimed at restoring basic social and communal infrastructure in priority areas such communities as energy, health, environmental peredovyscha, water supply, together with the development of small agricultural business. The project will support the Government of Ukraine in implementing reforms with decentralization and dissemination of innovative approaches to participatory planning and sustainable socio-economic development at the local level through the centers of knowledge management and implementation of the course in educationalno program twenty universities.
