In Chernihiv held All-Ukrainian event " Celebration of the Olympic flag "
June 12 in Red Square m. Chernihiv held a solemn ceremony of raising the national flag, the flag of the NOC of Ukraine within the framework of a nationwide event "Celebration of the Olympic flag." The event was held to mark the opening of 12 June First European Games in.Baku (Azerbaijan), which will be held from 12 to 28 June. The event was attended by the First Deputy Head Leonid Sahnevych, city council secretary Vladislav Cook, chairman of the regional department of the NOC of Ukraine Nikolay socks, Honored Coaches, athletes and pupils of sports schools in the city and region. Speakers welcomed the participants withthe opening points of the European Games and wished success to our athletes. Honorable mission of raising the national flag and the flag of the NOC of Ukraine made Olympic champion Elena and Natalia Smal box. In the prestigious tournament will represent Ukraine 243 athletes, including current Olympic champion, world championships and triumphant somethingpionativ Europe. Chernihiv will present two athletes: Merited Master of Sports, Olympic champion and two-time Olympic bronze medalist in shooting and Elena Kostevich international master of sports of beach volleyball Alex Denin.
