In Chernihiv City Council welcomed athletes from
professional holiday on September 11 to mark the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine in Chernihiv city council held a solemn meeting Mayor Alexander Sokolov from Chernigov athletes, veterans of the sport, coaches, sports associations heads, directors of sports schools, whichfinanced from the city budget. While welcoming the athletes from the professional holiday, the mayor stressed that "if we have not met with you in Chernigov athletes always have good achievements." He noted that sports veterans share their sports experience, ability to work hard to talented young people who adequately represents at international and national competitions state and hometown. O.Sokolov alsoassured that the city government will always support the development of physical culture and sports in a healthy lifestyle and talented youth. The mayor wished the sportsmen new victories and sport achievements and presented them diplomas and cash prizes.
