09/11/2015 at the meeting, the Rivne regional council acting prosecutor Rivne oblast Pavel Romanchuk informed of the state of legality in the region in the first half of this year, measures tostrengthening and performance of prosecutors. In his speech, Paul Romanchuk said that thanks to the concerted efforts of all law enforcement agencies in the region and cooperation with the authorities, local government, the public was able to influence the stabilization of crime situation in the region. As a result - the crime rate in the arearemains one of the lowest in the country and is 48.1 offenses per 10 thousand population. Guardians of the region carried out effective measures in combating organized crime and corruption. Also, the prosecutor informed about the investigation of current criminal proceedings, including proceedings that are in organspretrial investigation, and those that are pending in court. Summarizing, Paul Romanchuk said that the reformation region prosecutors continue to coordinate the activities of all law enforcement agencies to effectively combating crime in results that are expected of them citizens.
