Khmelnytsky region, preserving the geological nature monument of national importance "Cave Atlantis"

The other day involving the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Khmelnytsky Oblast State Administration in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine led by Director of Protected Areas of the Ministry of EnvironmentResources of Ukraine Ivanenko IB held a meeting on the use of geological nature monument of national importance "Cave of Atlantis." The meeting was attended by employees of the Ministry of Environment, representatives of the National Park "Podolski Tovtry" the Pacific "caving club" Atlantida ", LLC" NPO "" Continent Plus ". During the meeting obhoWarren need to preserve the geological nature monument of national importance "Cave Atlantis" and possible solutions to issues that arose during the execution of documents on the use of natural monuments, namely the transfer of custody of the protected object according to the security commitment. The geological nature monument zahalnoderzhavtion value "Cave Atlantis" established order of USSR Council of Ministers 780-p of 10.14.1975 g. for the conservation and sustainable use of the unique work of nature and of extremely high scientific, cognitive, aesthetic, historical and cultural value. This park, covering an area of ??10 hectares, located near s.Zavallya Kamenets-Podilskoho district of Khmelnitsky region and is part of the nature reserve fund of Ukraine, which is protected as a national treasure and is part of the global system of natural areas and sites under special protection. Following the discussion, the meeting decided to create a specialized working group tostudy of the situation by using a reserve, and provide scientific basis and proposals for further development and conservation of protected areas of national importance.
