Chernivtsi: Families of fallen heroes and rehabilitated victims of political repression have received benefits for utilities through community
Amendments to the city comprehensive program "Protection" in order to strengthen social protection of individual residents made public Aug. 31 by the city council. In particular, from 1 July citizens rehabilitatedand Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression in Ukraine", local budgets will get relief of 50% for housing and utility services within the social norms of consumption required by law. The payment of these benefits provided 340.3 thousand. UAH. The same benefits of 50% of oplatm utility services within the social norms of consumption from 1 July n. g. by local budgets receive family perished in the ATO and euromaidan Chernivtsi, if they are not eligible for benefits from the state budget. In addition, Mayor Alex Kaspruk appeal to the head of the NGO "GeRoy Family-Ukraine ", the widow of the deceased natshvardiytsya Oksana Zubzhytskoyi initiates the next session of the City Council decision on providing a monthly targeted assistance to these families of 500 USD. Such assistance in Chernivtsi are already mothers and widows of combatants who died during military service in Afghanistan. Willalso sent an appeal to the Government to increase incentives for housing and communal services to families of killed members TUs from 50% to 75% of their value within the social norms of consumption required by law. In general, the amount of funding the city comprehensive program "Protection" in this year is over 11.5 mln. Specifically,725 thousand. UAH. envisaged to provide targeted financial assistance to the most vulnerable war and labor veterans, children of war, elderly, disabled, rehabilitated victims of the Chernobyl accident, orphans and other citizens who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
