A growing number of faithful take part in hiking pilgrimage to Univ that take place twice a year on the third Sunday of May (the day commemorating the miraculous icon of the Virgin Univ) and 28 August, at the Patronal Feast of the Assumption. Believers from all over came to the monastery to pray pospovidATIS and ask the blessing of miraculous icon of the Virgin. On the eve of the pilgrimage specialists DSNS take additional measures to ensure adequate fire safety condition in the village Univ to prevent emergencies. Great fire danger on a pilgrimage was to use open flame.
