A meeting of heads of law enforcement agencies in
Prosecutor Volyn Volyn chaired by prosecutor Dmitry Chepizhaka held a coordination meeting of law enforcement leaders of the region, which discussed the state of combating crime, including organized forms of corruption and for 7 months of 2015. Opening the meeting, the regional prosecutor said that this year is not simple in terms of socio-political processes in the country, law enforcement land held considerable scope for combating crime and corruption. Through effective law enforcement cooperation strenuously fighting corruption manifestations. Quantitydetected and investigated corruption crimes has doubled. According to the results of their investigation to the court directed 38 criminal proceedings, every third of them - to obtain undue advantage. Activity strengthened operational units to identify sources of supply channels and distribution of drugs and other prohibited items trafficking in prisons and pre HC ’ yaznennya. Meanwhile, Attorney Volyn noted that the measures taken in the field againstaction crime is not yet sufficient. In particular, the comprehensive solution of all police regional issues still need to fight crime and its organized forms, combating the smuggling of excise goods, narcotics, arms and explosives across the border. One of the priorities of law enforcement andtoday is ensuring effective counteraction to corruption offenses in all spheres of society, especially in the priority areas of the economy: in budget and tax sectors, agriculture, land relations, financial and credit system. So efforts to identify criminal offenses, including factsabuse by the officials of the state authorities, local government, law enforcement and the judiciary needs revitalization.
