Law enforcement officers stopped the illegal mining of Lviv sand and gravel from the Dniester Employees

Guardians, August 9, around 4:00 am near the village Ralivka, on the banks of the Dniester River, Found three men who mined using shovels sand and gravel and tried to take her on a truck ZIL-130. On this fact started pre-investigation p.1 st.240 (violation of safety rules or use of mineral resources) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Sanction article provides for punishment by a fine of three hundred to four hundred non-taxables minimum incomes, or restraint of liberty for up to two years, or imprisonment for the same term. According to the current legislation of Ukraine, extract gravel in mountain rivers prohibited. Illegal mining can lead to unpredictable consequences, particularly during spring floods.
