Volyn region, rescuers continue to fight fires on peat in the north
on August 10 in the tract « Long » between s. Rip and. Vorokomle Stone Kashyrsky district, Volyn region found some pockets of peat fire on a total area of ??100 hectares. As at 7:00 on August 11 eliminated peat burning onan area of ??about 5 hectares, continues extinguishing peat ’ of wooden fires on the total area of ??about 95 hectares. By extinguishing the fire involved 41 people (including 20 management staff DSNS area, 3 water management and employees 18 people local population), 3 special units and basic fire fighting equipment.
